Going back to the wonderful world of Atari Video Games in 8-bit, Good for me delivers an electronic pop song from the romantic pop rock duo of RKVC. A mixture of self deprecating humor with a soundtrack based in modern electronic pop, RKVC places Good for me over a series of 8-bit images and video reminiscent to Atari video games and Nintendo video games such as super mario brothers, pit fall and Legend of Zelda.
The Self-Deprecating Romantic Pop Rock Duo of Rod Kim & Vince Cirino bridges the gap between songs of heartbreak and love with out making you want to jump off that bridge.
The duo was also responsible for creating this video them selves. For a week the electronic pop was put on hold to go back in time and reference, to create the video.
Strangely enough, the song Good for me on Pandora has been compared to Maroon 5, One Republic and Foster the People. Other songs in their repertoire have been compared from everyone from Adele to Gavin DeGraw.
In the easiest summary to describe the two though, Rod and Vince share the tag line of: Mixing the feel & soul of the singer/songwriter genre with a noncommittal love for modern electronic pop.
There electronic pop music mixed with their electronic skills of creating videos that would realistically be outdated by some 25 years, makes for a fun mix, both audibly and visually.
RKVC is out and about performing and sharing their electronic pop sound layered in romance, bromance, and self deprecating humility. Good for me showcases a shining example of their abilities as much as it shares their sense of humor. The Self-Deprecating Romantic Pop Rock Duo of RKVC bridges the gap between songs of heartbreak and love without making you want to jump off that bridge.
