Punkin Chunkin is the southern Delaware tradition of building ridiculous contraptions to launch pumpkins as far as a machine can. Punkin Chunkin has been featured on Discovery Channel and the SciFi Channel but has faced difficulties the last couple years. Because of the inability to find insurance for the event, Punkin Chunkin has been cancelled for the second year in a row. Selena Gomez was diagnosed with Lupus, Jack White showed up to a potluck and 14-year-old Auli’i Cravalho found out she was the next Disney Princess, Moana! Have you been to Punkin Chunkin?
