Rod Kim is one half of the self-deprecating romantic pop rock and electronic pop duo RKVC. In this 2013 interview, Rod Kim is interviewed by best friend and bandmate Vince Cirino. Rod went from growing up in Greentown, IN to studying contemporary music at Greenville College near St. Louis. Early on in his career in music, his second commercial single “Tomorrow She’s Mine” put him on the map by being included on the hit XBox 360 video game ROCK BAND 2. The sophomore album was co-written by future bandmate Vince Cirino. In this 2013 interview, they discuss the serendipitous events that brought them to creating music together and filming video episodes.
Rod Kim & Vince Cirino: Mixing the feel & soul of the singer/songwriter genre with a noncommittal love for modern electronic pop.
